Wiping WIPING
Due to their soft powdery consistency, pastels and charcoal can be easily wiped, either with your fingers or a paper blending stick. The paper blending stick is available in 3 different diameters (7, 9 and 12 mm) and is sharpened on both ends. Advantage: Simply reshape dirty ends in normal sharpener to guarantee further clean working.

The results of this technique can be exquisite. You can create large colored surfaces or blend different shades of color into each other.
