& WATER COLOR AQUA STIC
Aqua Stics are watersoluble oil pastels with exceptional water solubility and high pigmentation. In addition to their extra softness and brilliant colors they score with their excellent lightfastness. Aqua Stics were rated for lightfastness by 210 hours of xenon-arc testing. This corresponds to 100 years of museum light. All Aqua Stics are rated in either category Lightfast 1 (LF1) or Lightfast 2 (LFII) of all in all five categories (see chart). They are perfectly suitable for numerous applications, such as watercolor, encaustic and sgraffito and can be used on various surfaces, e.g. paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, leather, glass and mirrors. Available in 80 colors. |
