What's included in the Garden Symphony set?
Garden Symphony is a watercolor pencil set from Cretacolor’s limited-edition Creative Garden Collection, featuring 24 water-soluble lightfast Marino colored pencils. It offers the widest color selection of all four sets. every one of the 24 pencils is a colored pencil.
Each pencil can be used in two ways. Applied dry, it creates bold areas of color and fine details. Blended with water, the pigment produces soft transitions and translucent washes. This single set lets you explore both colored-pencil drawing and watercolor techniques.
Who is Garden Symphony for?
For anyone who loves working with color and wants the largest palette in this collection. Because the set contains no graphite or black drawing pencils, your artwork stays colorful – ideal for flowers, leaves and other nature-inspired subjects.
No previous experience is needed. Start by drawing as you would with ordinary colored pencils, then decide if and where to add water. For watercolor effects, all you need in addition is a water brush and watercolor paper of approximately 200 g/m² or heavier. Marino colored pencils can be combined with all liquid watercolor paints.
What makes this gift box special?
The pencils come in a book-style presentation box with a magnetic closure that opens like a book. Measuring 20 × 19 × 3 cm and weighing approximately 406 g, the box has a fitted insert that keeps the pencils securely in place during transport.
The artwork is printed on the cover, so there is no need for gift wrapping – the set is ready to give as soon as it arrives. After unboxing, the box can be reused to store the pencils. It is not disposable packaging.
What design is on the box?
The Garden Symphony packaging features blooming hydrangeas with delicate butterflies perched among the flowers. The artwork also provides inspiration for your first project: all the colors you need to recreate it are included in the set.
