What's included in the Pastel Melody set?
Pastel Melody is a set of 24 Cretacolor Fine Art pastel pencils from Cretacolor’s limited-edition Creative Garden Collection.
Pastel pencils bring together the best of two worlds: they draw as precisely as pencils but can be smudged and blended like soft pastels. You can create smooth transitions without giving up fine lines.
Who is Pastel Melody suitable for?
For experienced pastel artists and anyone trying pastel techniques for the first time. The pencil format makes getting started much easier than working with pastel sticks: hold the pencil just like a colored pencil and blend only where you want to.
We recommend drawing on lightly textured paper that holds the pigment, such as pastel paper, pastel board or velour paper. A fixative is useful if you plan to transport or frame the finished artwork.
What makes this gift box special?
The pencils come in a book-style presentation box with a magnetic closure that opens like a book. Measuring 20 × 19 × 3 cm and weighing approximately 404 g, the box has a fitted insert that keeps the pencils securely in place during transport.
The artwork is printed on the cover, so there is no need for gift wrapping – the set is ready to give as soon as it arrives. After unboxing, the box can be reused to store the pencils. It is not disposable packaging.

The Pastel Melody packaging features a lush floral scene with a bird. The design shows what the technique can achieve: rich colors that flow into one another through soft transitions.
